Located at 418 Jackson Avenue,
the Louisiana Brewing Co. opened in 1885, and was later know as the New
Orleans Brewing Assn (1890), New Orleans Brewing Co. (1900), and New Orleans Brewing Co., Inc. (1933) where it produced 4-X beer (1933 - 1949), Double Eagle
Ale (1937 - 1944), Eagle Beer (1937 - 1944), Old Union Ale (1939 - 1943), and Union Beer (1939 - 1943).
The plant closed in 1949.
