The Raider team first wrestled in the Louisiana State Tournament in 1967.
Frank Dupre (195 pounds) won the LHSAA Division I State High School Wrestling Championship.
The team tool 6th place overall. The Genesian Players produced This Property is Condemned, Pyramus
& Thysbe, The Bald Soprano, and Meet Me In St. Louis during the academic year.
Paula Petavino was the 1967 Homecoming Queen. New Orleans Buccaneers, a charter franchises of the American Basketball Association, founded in 1967 was New Orleans'
